3rd annual International Staff Week conference

On May 8, Mariam Sulashvili, the coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office in Georgia, spoke about Erasmus+ and internationalization at the 3rd annual International Staff Week conference. The conference was held at the Georgian-American University (GAU).

The primary objective of the event was to promote and strengthen cooperation between university staff from different countries, which would facilitate the exchange of valuable experiences and best practices between partner and non-partner institutions.

The event was attended by participants from: Poland, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Latvia, Hungary, Ukraine, Belgium, Finland, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Sweden and Japan. In total, more than 30 international participants were present at the event.

Mariam Sulashvili and George Saimet, the leader of the research group on the feasibility of Georgia's participation in the Erasmus+ program, introduced the audience to the opportunities and advantages that the Erasmus+ program offers to university staff and students. They also answered the questions of the attendees.

 


3rd annual International Staff Week conference

On May 8th, Mariam Sulashvili, the coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Georgia, highlighted the internationalization aspect of the Erasmus+ program during the 3rd annual International Staff Week at Georgian American University (GAU).

The primary objective of this event was to foster and strengthen collaboration among university staff from a variety of countries, facilitating the exchange of valuable experiences and best practices between partner and non-partner institutions.

Participating countries included: Poland, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Latvia, Hungary, Ukraine, Belgium, Finland, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Sweden, and Japan, with over 30 total international participants.

Mariam Sulashvili and Georg Simet, Team Leader of the EU funded project on Feasibility Study of ERASMUS+ and Capacity Bundling, presented the opportunities and the benefits that the Erasmus+ program offers to the staff of the institutions and students and answered the questions of the audience.
