Capacity Building in the field of Sport (CB Sport) supports international cooperation projects aimed at strengthening the capacity of sport organizations, promoting good governance, integrity, inclusion, and the educational role of sport, particularly in partner countries. CB Sport projects are supported with EU grants of up to approximately EUR 400,000 per project, depending on scope and duration. In Georgia, participation in CB Sport during the 2021–2027 program period has resulted in 3 selected projects, all approved in 2025, including 1 project coordinated by a Georgian organization and 2 projects with Georgian organizations participating as partners, indicating initial but meaningful engagement and emerging coordination capacity in this action.
