LAST UPDATE: 12.09.2025 / 25.12.2025

Capacity Building in the field of Youth (CB Youth) supports transnational cooperation projects aimed at strengthening youth work, youth organizations, and youth policies in partner countries through capacity development, policy dialogue, and non-formal learning. In the 2014–2020 program period (KA214), CB Youth projects were funded with EU grants of up to EUR 150,000 per project, while in the 2021–2027 program period (KA237) the action was continued with an increased maximum EU contribution of up to EUR 300,000 per project, reflecting expanded ambitions and longer project durations. Based on the combined KA214 and KA237 data, Georgia has demonstrated strong engagement, with 32 projects coordinated by Georgian organizations and 63 projects involving Georgia as a partner, highlighting a particularly strong coordination role in the 2014–2020 period and sustained participation in the current program cycle.
