We are pleased to inform you that the results of the 2024 competition in the field of professional education and teaching have been announced.
Within the framework of the competition, 299 project applications were submitted, of which 280 met the minimum requirement criteria. The Project Evaluation Committee recommended 72 applications for funding, involving 78 institutions from third countries not associated with the program.
It should be noted that in the three project applications invited to sign the grant agreement, five Georgian vocational schools are included in the status of partners, and two institutions are included in the status of associated partners.
Selected participants of the CBVET competition received an invitation to sign the grant agreement. This list will be available to the general public on FTOP https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/whats-new , after the grant agreement is signed with the applicants.
Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training (CBVET) supports international cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organizations operating in the field of vocational education and training in EU member states, third countries associated with the Erasmus+ program and third countries not associated with the program.
It should be noted that 2024 project applications with the participation of Georgia were selected in the said competition in 3, which is 2022 times more than in 1.5, and 2023 times more than in 3.
In the selected projects in 2024, five Georgian vocational schools are involved as partners, which is 2023 times higher than the similar indicator of 5, and 2022 times higher than the indicator of 2.5. In addition to five partner agencies, in 2024 two associated entities are involved in selected projects from Georgia, which was not recorded in the previous years 2022 and 2023.
The cost of each project is between 100 and 000 euros.
The Capacity building in the field of Vocational Education and Training (CBVET) 2024
We are pleased to announce that the results of the 2024 Erasmus+ Program 'Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training (CBVET)' competition have been announced.
A total of 299 applications were received by the deadline and 280 proposals were declared eligible. The Evaluation Committee recommended 72 applications for funding. 78 non-associated third countries are involved in these 72 projects, out of which five Georgian VET partnered institutions and two associated entities are involved in three projects.
Applicants to the CBVET call were informed of the assessment of their applications, and were invited for the grant agreement. The final list will only be available at a later stage on FTOP https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/whats-new once the projects are contracted.
The Capacity building in the field of Vocational Education and Training (CBVET) action supports international cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organizations active in the field of VET in EU Member States, third countries associated to the Erasmus+ program and third countries not associated to the Programme.
Under the CBVET 2024 call, three proposals involving Georgian entities were approved for funding—1.5 times more than in 2023 and three times more than in 2022.
In total, five partnered VET entities are participating in these projects, which is five times the 2023 figure and 2.5 times the 2022 figure.
Additionally, two new associated entities are involved in 2024, which were not present in previous years. The budget for each project ranges from 100,000 to 400,000 euros.
