On Erasmus+ Europe Day

Europe Day was celebrated on May 6 at the Expo Georgia exhibition center. The event was held under the auspices and organization of the European Union Representation in Georgia. 

The large-scale event was officially opened by the representatives of the Government of Georgia and the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia.

The Europe Day event featured a variety of activities for people of all ages throughout the day. 

On Europe Day 2023, NEO in Georgia, in collaboration with volunteers from ESN Tbilisi, informed attendees about Erasmus+ sectors and opportunities to raise awareness of the Erasmus+ program. The Erasmus+ program focuses on the following sectors: higher education, vocational education, adult education, youth, sports and schools. NEO also presented the success statistics of students who traveled to study in European countries from Georgia with Erasmus+ student mobility in the past years. 

 


 

Erasmus+ at Europe Day

On May 6, at the exhibition center Expo Georgia, an event dedicated to Europe Day was organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia and celebrated together with thousands of visitors.

The event was officially opened by Georgian government authorities and the EU Ambassador.  

Throughout the day participants of the event, young and old, enjoyed a variety of activities.

On Europe Day 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Georgia, in collaboration with the volunteers of ESN Tbilisi, organized a series of activities aimed at raising awareness regarding the Erasmus+ program. Participants were apprised of the various sectors and opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme. This initiative is primarily focused on Higher Education Institutions, Vocational Education and Training, Adult Education, Youth, Sport, and Schools. The NEO also presented data regarding the number of Georgian students who used Erasmus+ student mobility opportunities to study in Europe for the previous years.
