Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters - Mobility

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) is a prestigious Erasmus+ action supporting high-quality, fully integrated international Master's programs, jointly delivered by a consortium of higher education institutions from different countries. It requires enrolled students to study in at least two different countries, often including both EU Member States and third countries not associated to the Program. Erasmus Mundus scholarship results for Georgia demonstrate sustained and growing participation across program periods. During the 2014-2020 period, 139 Georgian students were awarded Erasmus Mundus scholarships, of which 100 were financed from the global budget and 39 from the additional regional budget. In the 2021-2027 program period, Georgian participation has further increased, with 151 scholarship winners recorded by 2025, bringing the cumulative total to 290 Erasmus Mundus scholars from Georgia. The continued use of both global and regional budget allocations highlights Georgia's strong competitiveness in Erasmus Mundus calls and the strategic importance of regional funding in supporting access to high-quality joint Master's programs.
