On October 16, the Erasmus+ National Office in Georgia held an event - Erasmus + for students and young people - within the framework of Erasmus Days 2024. The event was hosted by the Black Sea International University. The purpose of the event was to familiarize the participants with Erasmus+ opportunities available to students and young people in Georgia.
In the first part of the event, NEO representatives talked about International Credit Mobility (ICM), Erasmus + Mundus, youth mobility and exchange, and trainings.
In the second part of the event, the invited speakers, Ainur Mamedova, Mariam Mgebrishvili, Giorgi Fatsatsia and Ana Kamadadze, shared their Erasmus+ experience with the attendees. They talked about the challenges and benefits of the Erasmus+ program. The invited speakers studied at various European universities as part of the Erasmus+ credits mobility competition.
In the next part of the event, the invited speaker, career mentor, Salome Sulaberidze, gave a presentation to the attendees on the following topics: how to write a CV, write a cover letter, create a personal image and prepare for an interview.
In the final part of the event, a Kahoot competition about the Erasmus+ program and the European Union was organized. The winners of the competition were awarded with symbolic gifts of NEO.
Erasmus Days 2023: Erasmus+ for students and youth
On October 16th, the National Erasmus+ Office in Georgia organized an event – Erasmus+ for Students and Youth. The event was held within the Erasmus+ days 2024 and was hosted by the International Black Sea University. The aim of the event was to share information about Erasmus + programs that are available in Georgia for students and young people.
During the first part of the event the representatives of the NEO in Georgia discussed the following topics: International credit mobility (ICM), Erasmus MUNDUS, Youth exchanges and Trainings.
The second part of the event was dedicated to the panel discussion about the experiences of the students who took part in the Erasmus+ ICM. Invited speakers: Ainur Mamedov, Mariam Mgebrishvili, Giorgi Patsatsia and Ana Qamadadze shared the challenges and benefits that are part of the Erasmus+ studying experience.
The next part of the event was dedicated to Career Mentor, Salome Sulaberidze's, presentation about the creation of CV and personal brand image, writing of motivation letter and getting ready for the interview process.
In the final part of the event, a Kahoot! a competition about the Erasmus+ Program and the European Union was organized. The winners of the competition were awarded with symbolic gifts of NEO.
