We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined the celebration of Europe Day in Tbilisi on May 9th.
More than 22,000 people attended the Europe Day event. The event featured:42 projects funded by the European Union;
24 members of the European Team – 21 EU Member States, the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD);
More than 100 entrepreneurs who presented their products and ideas;
Three stages, where 25 activities, discussions, screenings and performances took place, and finally an unforgettable concert by the band Bedford Falls;
Live podcast with distinguished guests — diplomats, writers, photographers, art historians, and comedians;
“Green Corner” – “Georgia Towards a Green Future” and other interesting activities of the partner project.
As part of this special day, the Erasmus+ National Office in Georgia was represented in two different spaces.
1) Pavilion 3 – Pavilion of Opportunities
The National Erasmus+ Office held a special seminar:
"Erasmus+ Opportunities for the Development of Intersectoral Clusters"
The seminar was dedicated to the opportunities for cross-sectoral cooperation, international partnerships, and collaboration between representatives of different sectors within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
2) Pavilion 11 – Interactive Space
During the day, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the opportunities of the Erasmus+ program in an interactive environment at the Erasmus+ National Office stand, receive information, participate in activities, and win symbolic prizes.
