On September 2024, 5, in Tbilisi, Georgia, the Erasmus+ National Office Coordinator participated in the closing event of the summer school organized by the European University within the EnlargeEU module of the Jean Monnet program. The summer school, entitled "European Union Enlargement: Past Lessons for Future Decision", focused on the complex processes of EU enlargement, such as the EU accession process, and a comprehensive analysis of the political, economic and legal dimensions of the enlargement negotiations.
The project aimed to raise the awareness of Georgian youth and young academics about the dynamics of EU enlargement. Through lectures, discussions and practical workshops, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the political, economic and legal factors shaping the EU enlargement process and the relevance of these topics for the future of Georgia.
This initiative represents another step towards a better understanding of the EU policy in the Georgian society, which is in line with the broader goal of strengthening the relationship between the EU and Georgia.
