Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) is an action of the Erasmus+ Program that supports physical mobility of students and staff between EU Member States and third countries not associated to the Program, including Georgia, in the field of higher education. Georgian mobility results under Erasmus+ show a strong and sustained two-way exchange of students and staff. During the 2014-2020 program period, a total of 6,512 Georgian students and staff participated in mobility to Erasmus+ countries, while 3,858 incoming mobilities to Georgia were recorded. In the 2021–2027 period, mobility volumes have remained high, with 6,747 outgoing and 2,992 incoming mobilities by 2024, bringing the cumulative totals to 13,259 outbound and 6,850 inbound mobilities. Georgia's share of regional mobility has also increased, rising from 26.1% in 2014–2020 to 32–34% in 2021–2024, indicating a strengthened position of Georgian institutions within Erasmus+ international mobility flows.
