On September 9, the coordinator of the Erasmus+ national office, Mariam Sulashvili, gave a speech at the international seminar "Well-being in schools" organized by the National Center for Professional Development of Teachers, which was held within the framework of eTwinning sponsored by the Erasmus+ program. Teachers from Georgia and representatives of 14 European countries participated in the seminar.

The director of the National Center for Professional Development of Teachers Berika Shukakidze opened the international seminar with a welcome speech. And the special speaker of the seminar, the professor of the University of Valencia and the head of the European University for the Study of Democratic Culture, Tamar Shuali, made a report on intercultural education, democratic culture and the well-being of students.

The main goal of this seminar is to motivate the teachers involved in the program, to work together on project ideas, to share best practices, to promote cooperation and communication, and to introduce innovative teaching-learning methods.

The National Center for the Professional Development of Teachers of LSI, with the help of the European Commission, has been implementing the eTwinning program since 2013. The mentioned program is financed within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, and up to 6000 Georgian teachers are currently involved in the program.

The event was part of the eTwinning initiative, which is part of the Erasmus+ Programme. Teachers from Georgia and representatives of 14 European countries participated in the seminar.
