Mobility programs for young workers

Within the framework of this program, organizations can receive financial support for training youth workers and strengthening their organizations.
The programmes support the professional development of youth workers and, consequently, the development of quality youth work at local, regional, national, European and international levels, through non-formal learning experiences in mobility activities. It contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, in particular the European Youth Work Agenda on quality, innovation and recognition of youth work.
The specific objectives of youth worker mobility are as follows:
- Promoting the educational and professional development of youth workers and relevant systems, both within and outside the informal and formal system;
- Establishing a community of youth workers who can support projects and activities involving young people both at EU level and beyond;
- Establishing best practices for local youth workers and strengthening the capacities of youth workers and their organizations, which will make the impact on youth workers tangible.

Description of activities:
- Study visits to various types of organizations – job shadowing, youth worker exchanges, learning from colleagues;
- Establishing professional connections Among youth workers;
- Training courses – supporting competence development, both based on existing competence models and by testing innovative methods (eg digital and smart youth worker practices);
- Seminars and workshops – goal-orientated on the exchange of knowledge and best practices, in the context of youth workers, on EU values and priorities;
Activities that cannot be financed by the "Young Worker Mobility Programme" – academic study visits, activities focused on financial gain, activities associated with tourism, festivals, travel for leisure, tours for performances.
