With the support of SPHERE Obreal, funding from the European Union and organized by NEO, the Erasmus+ National Office in Georgia invites you to an online meeting “TAM – Technical Assistance Mission – The role of higher education institutions in shaping the national quality assurance system for research and innovation.”

Audience: The event is intended for higher education institutions, as well as doctoral researchers and specialists working on education issues.
Objectives of the event:
- Creating research evaluation mechanisms: Develop assessment tools and indicators (e.g., publication metrics, funding efficiency, institutional impact) that are consistent with international standards and Georgian priorities.
- Creating standardized assessment criteria: Defining clear and transparent criteria covering research quality, innovation, societal impact, and commercial potential.
- Encouraging young researchers and conscientious individuals: Implement mechanisms to assess early-career researchers, strengthen mentoring, and incorporate academic integrity checks into evaluation systems.
- Establishing a framework for policy recommendations: Prepare relevant, evidence-based recommendations to integrate modern evaluation practices into national funding schemes.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Georgia invites HEIs and other educational institutions and private actors to the online meeting "TAM 2 – The Role of Georgian HEIs in Shaping a National Quality Assurance". The event is organized by the support of SPHERE Obreal and European Union's funding.

- Establish Tailored Research Assessment Mechanisms: Design assessment tools and indicators (eg, publication metrics, funding efficiency, institutional impact) aligned with international standards and Georgia's priorities.
- Create Standardized Evaluation Criteria: Define clear and transparent criteria covering research quality, innovation, societal impact, and commercial potential.
- Support Young Researchers & Integrity: Introduce mechanisms to evaluate early-career researchers, strengthen mentorship, and embed academic integrity checks within assessment systems.
